My scores were a 650 in math, a 650 in critical reading, and a 710 in writing. And my combined score ended up being a 2010, so I ended up achieving my goal to break 2000. I found my tutor to be fun and engaging, at the same time teaching the skills that I needed to know in order to succeed.

I have always found math intimidating, all the way through AP Calculus. So then, there it was, the math portion of the GRE, looming like a monolith between a PhD program and me. Luckily, the director of the Mellon Mays Undergraduate Program at Columbia University was smart enough to hire Akil Bello of Bell Curves test prep. Akil demonstrated all of the best qualities of a tutor: extreme patience, humor and unparalleled knowledge concerning the test at hand. Well, today was finally the day, and...I SCORED 710!! I want to thank Bell Curves. Though I continued to use other study books, features of the Bell Curves site definitely made me more prepared. The CAT tests helped show how CAT scoring works, the review section helped me work on problem areas, I would have missed at least one question if I hadn't memorized the powers suggested. You taught me SAT prep techniques last year, and I just wanted to tell you that I got into Columbia through early decision.
